Hi there,
Any one knows if there is some plugin for google desktop that indexes the msg plus chats?

And if no, how difficult do u think it would be to write such a plugin. I would be tempted to start developing it.

Im not sure if this is possible, I would have thought it would cause privacy issues.. so unless im mistaken on what you said, i don't think there is such plug-in.

Why not just put every chat log onto a website and have that indexed?

hmmm...
well if google desktop indexes are encrypted (there is a switch, so there is no issue of privacy), and there is an API for msgplus encrypted chats, i guess it would be much better than having to save the chats unencrypted as web docs.

It is quite a pain having to find something in msgplus chats, especially since they are rolled every month and also slow to decrypt one by one to search.
