After searching through numerous deviantart pictures of Windows visual styles, I keep seeing these weather stations found on the desktop. I was wondering how I would set this up and if it is specific to a certain year of Windows. There is an example in this image on the top right. Any help is appreciated.

edit: link. the weather widget is build in the software. just download and install. then you have about 20 widgets you can use. of course you can download way more

As it said on the page you linked to that example (kit thats for download on same page includes all shown on that image) uses the yahoo weather widget....

With a little googling i found that at http://widgets.yahoo.com/yahooweatherwidget/ (edit: if you are only interested in the weather gadget).

the one we see in the screenshot is the one that is build in the software. i used it some time ago
