Since this morning internet explorer 7 has been making a beeping/whistling sound every time i refesh a page
ive looked through setting  and cannot find a  option to play sound when a page is refeshed, ive tried firefox, that doesnt seem to be making a beeping noise, but i like internet explorer 7 better than ff, so any help

Go into the Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. It should be in there.

Where you set the sounds for Windows startup, window operations, etc. there will be an option for Start Navigation and End Navigation. Remove the sound from them both.
