Lets start with the settings, why can't you cutomize your shortcuts for everything, There should be a shortcut side tab underneath the cusotimze tab leting you set your shortcuts to w/e you want

Any feature that uses a hotkey has a configuration option that allows you to set the hotkeys in the same place you enable it. Having a separate section just for shortcut keys wouldn't make the software any easier to use IMHO.
