As we are under two weeks away from the delightful time us catholics call the birth of our saviour, shall we be seeing the messenger plus live logo (the one up there ^^^) being decorated with a nice christmas theme


What would be cool would to hold a competition for the next week. Forum members get to submit a edited version of the logo to be used over the holiday period. One submission per user. Staff narrow down contenders, forum members pick which is the best one.

Thoughts?

Ill make one.. but im sure there are going to be lots of them

One with snow would be good aswell (like the one last winter... that was up there until May ), as not everyone celebrates Christmas

I was actually thinking the site needs a christmas logo earlier today when i was doing some christmas stuff .

Flash allowed? I think the last "official" xmas logo had flash animated snow?

No new themes. Shhhh.

I agree with stiggy. A competition for the logo. I'll make a lame attempt at it

I wonder if the gm script i had for the forum that would allow snow on the old style header would still work. I doubt it since we changed the header

Theme takes too much time to get it done in such a short period.

I'd say, start creating the logos and submit them here .

Didn't turn out as well as I hoped, but still, it's not too bad
