O.P. connection problem?
been having problems with sending/ receiving messages and getting signed out of WLM for no reason.  I took a look at my connection settings and found this.
Is there any possible way I can fix it?

RE: connection problem?
Have you tried restarting you modem? (That's if you have a broadband connection)

Have you checked that your not connecting to a proxy server?

Have you tried a clean install of Both Messenger and Messenger Plus! ?

Do you have sweetim or smiley central installed?

RE: connection problem?
can you connect to the internet atleast? if you can then its something to do with WLM or something blocking your conection maybe an active sheild or firewall  if you cant connect to the internet  something is wrong with your connection or something external im not sure should get it checked

I tried restarting the modem already, uninstalled and reinstalled both WLM and plus, no smiley central...um...I'm a little slow lol.  I have no idea about the proxy server thing.  In fact, I don't even know what it is:|

RE: connection problem?
When you say that you've reinstalled WLM and MP!L, did you go through the process of uninstalling, going to "C:\Program Files\" and deleting th MSN Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live folders (only if they are there of course) and then installing WLM and MP!L again?

Does it still happen without MP!L installed?
