really if you were to go back for one feature, it is really pointless as you loose out on other features that all your other friends enjoy. And having a conversation notifier, to me anyway, defeats the purpose of having the surprise of someone messaging me. Always a good feeling when your surprised rather than being warned and thinking "oh here we go again"

No, all your friends would have to using version 6.x I'm quite sure.  This is because of them getting DPs and closing connections after a certain amount of inactivity and a number of other things that have changed in the protocol that make this feature work unreliably.

Conversation notifier works a little bit actually.

it wasn't done by msgplus it self there was another plugin StuffPlug which was supported by MsgPlus which shows a toast when some one clicked our name or opend a convo with us.
