I think you are confusing hibernation where windows put the contents of the RAM on disk for a fast reboot with pagefile which windows uses as a swap file.

You can decrease the pagefile size by going to System Properties (WinKey + Pause/Break) and then the tab advanced then click Settings under the Effects heading and go to the advanced tab and on the bottom click the button that says Edit, here you can change size and location of the swap file (pagefile)

EDIT: Nevermind, I read the whole thread again and found my own 1 GB hibernation file

I don't know how to make that go away

Besides it's only 1 GB...

Yeah, but that's not an option if the feature is used
