hey,

Well i got my new laptop for my xmas. It's a Dell Inspiron 9400. it has a ATI x1400 grapics cards ect...  i want to install Sim's 2 PC game on it but when it ask's for the second disk, i put it in the drive and click ok, then the installation just does not respond so i can't install the game. when i go to exit the installer it comes up not responding. It's not the atuall game because i have installed it on my Home PC aswell. i Have installed other games on the laptop before and it has been fine. My Laptop more than meets the system requirement. What could be the problem?

Try puting it in then just leave it to do what its doing if nothing happens click ok if it crashes again try going to the read me file on the disk.

Is the disk real or is it copyed?

It's real. I don't see the advantage of going to the read me file

It will tell you setup instuctions and troubleshoot. (most of the time)

Are you pressing Ok too soon after inserting the disc? Some laptop disc drives are slower, so this may be the problem..

Allow some time before pressing Ok to see if it works.
