O.P. N.e.t.w.o.r.k help
I am connected to a router that is connected to an other pc.
With networks you can drag and drop items to each other but i cant do that why not.

It wont work with shared docs.

Can anybody help, thanks.

RE: N.e.t.w.o.r.k help
are both computers in the same workgroup/domain? if so, share a folder (right click, sharing) and then check My Network Places on the other PC and see if the folder appears.

the Shared docs folder is just for different users on the same PC (iirc? don't use it =p, i just share folders accross networks)

Right click the folder, click properties, then click 'Sharing' tab at the top.

I am assuming you're using Windows XP, by the way.

My Network Places.

Or in an explorer window type \\COMPUTERNAME\ in the address bar.  Where COMPUTERNAME is the name of the computer with the shared files.

Edit:  Beaten to the post.
