i have this problem where everytime i log in my msn account it completely disconnect my net connection... this all started after i used the messmsn.be (or sumthing) and tried the "poly msn" which you can use msn client as many as u wish.. since then my net connection conflicted to my msn account and i cant use it else il get disconnected in my net i already deleted this program from my pc and several time reformat the drive C and reinstalled msn client 5 times too but i still got the same result help pls...

What version of messenger are you using?
Did/do you have smileyIM or smileycentral?
Do you get any error codes at all?

i have the latest version of msn and no i dont have those smiley central emoticons... i dont get any code of error at all :/ its juz the moment i logged in it completely disconnect me in the net

i have another account and it allows me to log in but the moment sumone came or pm me or i pm them it will start to disconnect me in the net too.. i really dunno wat to do anymore..

If you have a router, reset it by unplugging the power cord then plugging it back in. If you don't have a router/reset doesn't work, try checking out your network adapter (onboard or PCI?).

wat is PCI? (noob me, am not a technician though) i already tried unplugging  my router even the network and my modem but i still got the same result.. i even tried to change ip add and gateway but i completely lost my connection i searched for sum spyware and my pc is clean and i still have the same result... a friend helped me but he cant completely coz we r juz trying it through chatting and we r miles away from each other.. am getting desperate here

Your isp may help it could be there problem.

i already called my isp but they told me msn is working fine with them..they told me that i might have some virus in my account? is that possible? but as far as i know the moment you reformat your pc and reinstall wlm it will come up like new? i did that about 5 times and no avail.. in addition.. i have 2 wlm accounts, i can log in the 1st account with no problem but i cant use it to talk to any hotmails e mail add but it works fine to yahoo messenger.. and the 2nd one, it is totally unusable... it automatically disconnect my net connection... T_T any more helping hand out there? :/

PCI = the cream coloured rectangular things on motherboard

Onboard = a network socket actually on the motherboard instead of on a PCI card

ok thnx il tell my tech to check it.. coz i am really getting ^%&^&%^$%^$ here with msn X(
