O.P. MSN Gleam Problem
Hi, i'm having some weird problem with my MSN Gleams, for some reason they wont dissapear, have a look:

When I click the button to show the contact card, it doesn't load anything from the contact's MSN space; and yes, they do have one, so it should show up. Has anyone had any problems like this recently? My MSN version is 7.5.0324 - it used to work just fine, but about 2 or 3 weeks ago it just stopped. Any help would be good, cheers!

Try going all the way into the space, not just the card, and viewing the updated post.

Yeah I can do that anyway - it's just that  I use the gleams to see when people update their MSN space, what I want to fix is the issue where it doesn't load the content into the contact card.

RE: MSN Gleam Problem
Unfortunately, the problem is caused by the rebranding of MSN services to LIVE!. The URL to your contacts' spaces changed and your version of MSN Messenger still tries to fetch the data from the old URL (which redirects to the new one... but Microsoft forgot to support HTTP redirections in that version of Messenger).

The "solution" would be to upgrade to Windows Live Messenger or patch your version of MSN Messenger (with Mess Patch or similar) to disable gleams.
