So TVs have not been developed to produce less radiation than CRT monitors, even though they use the same (if not similar) technology?

About 50% of the radiation you get daily comes from the ground, up trough the floors. It's not dangerous, just like the TV one isn't either.

yeah, it would be great not having all those power-cords hidden on the back of your pc. I've always said: "Less cable, better" and always though this technology was doable.
