Does it show the correct date but not day? Seems like you have the year set up wrong (remember, it's 2007 ). I checked the calendar, and it supports my theory.
EDIT: I read your post again, and your example date was indeed 2006 (but also the wrong date), so it might not be a silly thing to double-check.
