Is there a script that could be made to change your nickname font style? I know there are certain foreign characters that can change the font slightly, but they all add boxes wherever the character is placed (if the person on the other end doesn't have the font installed).

So is this possible, or does the protocol not allow it?

You cannot change the font of you nickname or psm. Though unicode characters could be used.
