The keyboard buttons: " and @ get mixed up, and I've tried Google, but no results, and i also have tried using another keyboard, but that didn't work either.

Check your keyboards language. If you're on XP, it's in Control Panel> Regional and Language Options> Languages > Details.

Rightclick your taskbar. Go to tool bars > Language bar> Click the arrow and click settings.

Make sure you've US keyboard selected.

Control Panel> Regional and Language Options> Languages > Details

If Shift + 2 is supposed to be " (i.e your keyboard is English) make sure you have United Kingdom selected.

If Shift + 2 is supposed to be @ (i.e your keyboard is American) make sure you have United States selected.
