Is there a script that is able to get rid of the adverts on the msn window and maybe do other things? But im really only looking to remove the adverts.

Try using messpatch.

Hey guys,

I used mess patch and it worked fine...however, I used it 3-4 times on top of eachother and as a result, I now have the SignOut button and the Options button (which I had enabled) 4 times (!) on my main window.....what can I do???

also, is it possible that the status of the contact is shown on the display picture on the contact list, not making necessary to enable the buddy icons?

why would you run it so much times?... umm just reinstall the backups then you can do it...

and as for the status on displaypictures, i have never tested that.. so i am not quite sure but i do not think it is possible..

where can I find the backups?

the backups won't help you either now, you'll probably end up with 3 of the buttons then
I suggest a fresh WLM install and this time, patch it right the first time...
