Ok. I have WLM latest from the site and when i log on, it logs in, shows contacts, then it just disappears and isn't anywhere to be seen? I've tryed numerous posts of how to solve things and still no joy. Does anyone else have the same problem or a solution? I'm running on Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

Tried deleteing the MSN messenger file in c://program files when youve uninstalled it?
Any smiley IM or Smiley Central installed?
Is it being docked to the side of the screen (unlikely but worth a try) Do you have messenger enhancer live installed?

Tried deleting everything, cache, temp files etc. No Smily IM or Smiley central. Not docked at side of screen. and Do not have messenger enhancer live installed.

What version of messenger are you running?
Where are you downloading them from?
Any patches installed?

Go to task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) then click on WLM then click on switch too

Latest from live.com, no patches installed. it disappears from task manager and processes.

EDIT: In Safe Mode with networking i can login no problem without it disappearing so anyone know the cause of the disappearing?

Maybe you could try and go back to 8.0? If this provides positive feedback, do tell us.
