I have just recently downloaded the newest MSN/WLM and I sign in and then I go to click a friend's name to IM and than BAM it freezes? I see some other people have had this problem? But nothing seems to work for me.  ANy suggestions?

Lets start with the basics:
Do you have any add-ons attached to MSN?
What kind of internet do you use?
How long does it freeze for?
Have you tried this out on another persons computer?
Can you use a web messengering system properly? (Without any problems)

No, I don't have any add ons attached to MSN/WLM.
I use IE7.
When you say how long does it freeze? It freezes right away and stay frozen for about 30 secs and it just closes.
Yes, I have treid it on my dad's laptop still doesn't work.
Yes, I can use AIM fine without any problems.
