hey,

well i have got my site up and running (no content though) and now i want to inculde a blog, much like the one on nagamasa's site.

So i went onto the wordpress website and was cometly confused! i just want a simple blog on my blog page. i have a username and pass for wordpress but i now do not know how to put the blog onto my site, right now all i have is my www.ptoye.wordpress.com

so could someone explain (very simply) step by step how to do it or if someone really wanted would they could do it for me via remote assistance

Have your got a website? Other than your wordpress blog?

Go here http://wordpress.org/download/

Then upload it to /blog or somthing

Look at the attachment that will help more

WordPress installation instructions.

WordPress has some requirements your server has to meet:
-FTP access to the server
-MySQL
-php

If you don't know, send a e-mail to your host. The instructions are fairly clear, but there are some parts not mentioned (like uploading using FTP, how to access the server using FTP in the first place and how to create a database and a user for it - for these you should check with the host).

Follow my instructions earlier, that's the way to do it. The alternative way is to ask Nathan to do it for you.
