It is simply not getting the music from Winamp =/
I tried updating Winamp, repaired Live messenger... but yet nothing.
Yes, I searched in the forums.
Yes, the box "show information of Windows Media Player" is checked at the options.

You need a special Winamp plug-in for that to work... It's only made for Windows Media Player otherwise

That was just one of them on the list, you can try different ones to suit your needs... go to winamp.com... search in the plug-ins section, and type MSN... and a whole bunch come up... I've used a couple different ones that i liked, but I'm not sure which ones... Just don't need them anymore cause i don't use it...

you can also try Music now playing script for MP!L It is highly configurable, and provides other features too!

BTW, I am talking about the "Now Playing" script, not the one that comes with messenger live... And it says it already supports Winamp, are you sure I need to get a specific plugin for Winamp for it to work with that script?

Then you might not... I'm not sure... I thought you were assuming it worked with winamp without any scripts...

Yea, I was talking about that script. Sorry for not being specific.

I do know for certain that the script only works with the latest version of Winamp, 5.33. You can try upgrading, and make sure that on the "Main" tab of the NP configuration, that you have Winamp selected as the main player.

Try upgrading Winamp first, and if that doesn't work, come back for some more help.

it works with any 5.xx winamp, and yeah just do as meetc said make sure its selected as the main player, and does /np work in a conversation window while listening to winamp?
