O.P. Grin  Opening links in new window
Ok, so i just downloaded Windows Live Messenger. Yeah i know i'm 6 months behind everyone else. But here's the thing, whenever i click a link in a conversation window, the link opens up in an active window, instead of opening a new window. It's very annoying when the links just open over whatever i'm viewing in the active windows. Any ideas on how to get links to open in a new window? Thanks in advance.

sugarshane, if you're using Firefox, you can set this option in firefox itself. WLM doesn't have an option for this but your browser does. IE and opera do too :)
For firefox, click tools > options > tabs. Select new pages should be opened in new tabs (or windows if you want :))

Hope that helps :)

Thanks so much! After spending nearly an hour going through WLM and the Plus settings it's solved with 1 tick box. Thanks again.

Tools -> "Where it says Tabs click Settings" -> "Where it says 'When a pop up is encountered' check the radiobox saying "Always open pop-ups ina new tab"

Hope this helps :)
