O.P. Links in Windows Live Mess V8.1 don't open in new window

As title, forced to upgrade to 8.1 and now anytime I click a link someone sends me, it opens in my active browser window and not a new window - it's very annoying!

Anyone know a fix?

Internet explorer > Tools > Internet options > General > Tabs > Settings > go to the bottom and tick a "new window"

Firefox > Options > Tabs > New window

I don't have a "Tabs" option in Internet Explorer. I am using IE6, sorry should have said.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Uncheck Reuse windows for launching shortcuts.

Do this in Internet Explorer.
