O.P. Time zone service in RSS?
Hey!

I was wondering if you knew of any service that can give you the current time zone of a specific location in RSS or similar thing.

Eg.: Brazil -> -03:00 GTM

I'm trying to avoid having to parse 20 pages to get time zones of countries, hence I asked for RSS output. (I didn't see RSS there.)

Do you want a particular country or a list?

It's a small list (less than 20 countries) that I need to use constantly to have the current time zones (some of these countries might use DST).

Having to manually check or parsing a whole website is out of the question, that's why I'm specifically asking for RSS/XML/whatever.

Can't you use a script to download a "world clock" page like the one hmaster linked to, scrape data from it, then output as RSS? You'd probably never notice the intermediate step if it's coded properly and hosted on a reliable server. :p

:rolleyes: No, I can't. Hence I said "I don't want to parse" it.

Never mind, then. Thanks for your help guys. I'll just have to make the list myself and update it whenever I remember. :P Oohh, that will be hell...
