I ideally need a command, I can't risk taking the battery out, and holding the power button down does not work

.
What I done was, I was messing with Intel's TV out, so the screen went out, and it never came up on my TV. And now I've got no visual display, but I know how to get it back, but without the ability to see anything going to be near impossible. Stupid Intel have made a very user unfriendly software here.
Edit: Done it, with the right search terms, and cross referencing, I found a way to do it. I found the command to start run, then I entered 'SHUTDOWN -s -t 01' to shutdown XP. Now I need to get my screen back

.
Edit 2: It's back! Crisis over!
