O.P. Error 800701f6 & 8100030e
This is the error i recieve when trying to sing in today.

Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

Error Code: 800701f6

I am currently at a school and behind a school filter (im not one of the pupils), i have live installed but the above message comes on, i managed to get on yesterday, our admin has blocked the .exe file but simply changing the name allows it to work. is the changing of the .exe name an issue as it worked yesterday?

Any comments on the above code would be appreciated.

Additionally i just tried again and got the following code!

8100030e

MAJOR APOLOGIES I HAVE JUST REALISED I HAVE PUT THIS IN THE +PLUS SECTION!!! SORRY I DONT HAVE PLUS INSTALLED HERE JUST YET! (apologies for the caps but i wanted to make that clear).

ports that messenger uses would probably be blocked as well...unless there is a way to get around that filter, not much you can do.

Yeah the ports arnt blocked as i was on it, well if they are its a poor attempt as ive done nothing special to get it on and i now have it on, its very tempremental though cuts out at random times and takes a few attempts to get back in, also kills the full application dead on occassions.

Thanks for the comments.
