I am new to coding extensions, as I have only just started and I was wondering if anyone knew, and would be able to tell me how to code a script so that you can call it from the Chat Window?

Look in the scripting documentation and it will explain how to code a command so that you can type something like "/command" and have a function from your script execute. I can't remember it off the top of my head though
