O.P. read info from website
Hey

is it possible to read information from a website?

e.g. the name of the frist match of a google search operation

http://www.google.com/search?&q=beer&btnG=Google-Suche&meta=
in this case "Beer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia"

that the firs match in your language... cause in my language is not that... so must be very difficult I think to do that in pages like google... where dynamically change the info depending of your settings...

I'm pretty sure this is possible, I mean, the search feature on WLM just picks the first few results, doesn't it?

I am sure that this can be done... look for example this script:

http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=61...d=788976#pid788976

maybe you must contact Chestah by pm to ask him how he do that...

The question is that this must be done very carefully of want info you will be requesting to be read... cause if you want to read always the same info you must be sure that the dynamic of that website don't move that of the place you always read it... maybe this can be more usefull if you can read feeds in xml format... there you are sure of allways find the info troughtout a label...

mate in the link I gave you there is a link to download the script but is down I don't know why... and here all scripts are open source but you must ask for permission to use what somebody else made... Is just for a polite relationship within the users...

anyway here is the link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jfjkbn
