In some upcoming version, maybe you could add some more options in the Personalized Status system.. eg. More "real" statuses to choose between, like "Be right back" or "on the phone."
Also it would be very nice if you could set a hotkey that'd set your status back to normal, at least I think so.

What do you think?

hotkey...maybe but you could just use the "/online" command in a conversation window, but as to see thing like "On The Phone"/"In A Call", etc. definately something which has been suggested, but I think is still on the "To-Do" list.

I agree with the more statusses...

This is, btw, a request which already has been made a couple of times though And probably indeed already on the (extremely long) to-do list.....


As for the hotkeys:

There is a script which can do that: "[Release] StatusKey (Version 2.0)" You might wanna read the entire thread first though, as I'm not sure which attached script is the latest version - you get this when new versions are simply attached to new posts instead of only updating the first post of a thread with the new version and linking to it -)

But also, you could very easly do it with a QuickText too. Just make a new QuickText and add /online as the text and add a shortcut. Only (big) downside is that this will only work in a conversation window.

And by simply selecting a new status from the menu in your contact list, or from the system tray menu, you'll reset the personalised status too...
