Can anyone tell me what i need to do when i get the following message
"The ordinal 730 could not be located in the dynamic link library
shell32.dll"

can you give more info?

what leads to you getting this message?
what os and version of msn do you have?

google has led me to believe its when installing wlm and a few results mention windows 2000, is this the same for you?

Already mentioned in Live Messenger install problem. This is from trying to install Windows Live Messenger on Windows 2000, when it only supports XP and above. In future, please use the search feature to see if a question has already been answered.

On a side note, this is posted in the wrong sub-forum, this is a Messenger problem and not related to Messenger Plus!. Requested to be moved to MSN/WLM forum.
