I install the latest winows live messenger in english, it downloads the file well but when it comes to the installation, it cuts off and it never installs. I go and install the same messenger in another language and it installs fine. For some reason, only the english version of messenger won't install when it's been released to download and install.

This problem only occurs on 1 particular computer, for all the others here, the english messenger can be installed correctly without any problems at all but not for this 1 computer.

This is quite annoying and could someone please tell me how i can fix this problem. Also, if the spanish version could be changed to english without any reinstalling necessary.

Thanks for the post. Nothing works, i think it's the darn laptop.

Try updating Windows through Windows Update and try again.
