O.P. WLM 8.1 crashes when MSG Plus is installed
I installed the latest version of Messenger Plus Live i.c version 4.22.0.274 on Windows Live Messenger version 8.1. i had WLM patched with MessPatch and after installing Messenger Plus Live, everytime i tried to log in with WLM, it crashed. i then tried again after removing the patch. it still crashed. only after i uninstalled Messenger Plus Live did WLM start working properly again. What seems to be the problem?

do you have anything like sweetim or smiley central installed?

have you checked your firewall settings?

no i do not have add-ons like smiley central installed. i also don't use a firewall. i use the default firewall in Windows XP
