Hello there, everybody. Before I begin, allow me to post my specs:

Lately, I've noticed that I can't hear custom sounds sent to me on Windows Live Messenger. It doesn't matter if those are built-in sounds that come with MsgPlus or custom sounds that people added themselves - they all cannot be heard. It also has nothing to do with the 8.5 Beta version, since it also happened when I was using the 8.1.0178 build. I am able to accept the sound, and even click "play" or "stop" on the conversation windows - but it cannot be heard.

I've looked around the preferences panel of MsgPlus, but haven't come up with anything that can solve the problem. Another thing that you should note is that I disabled Messenger's sounds (the E-mail/Conversation default sounds, not those that have any connection to MsgPlus), if that gives you any clue (although I don't think it should ).
