The standard way is to sign up you in http://mobile.live.com/signup/Signup2.aspx, the official service powered by MSN. The difference is in the connection. Whit eBuddy you message with the WAP protocol, with MSN messages are SMS.

It is very good, although I prefer Meebo on my PC, it seems a much better portable alternative .

i used that on my PSP, it's rather annoying how you can't tell when some sends a message when you're typing
