O.P. Huh?  Dash next to displayname
hi folks!

Normally, when you look at your contactlist, your displayname will be seperated from your personal message with a dash "-". As soon as you remove your personal message, this dash will disappear, and your displayname remains.

Now my problem. Even though I never use a personal message next to my displayname, there is always a dash. I can set a personal message, then delete it, and the dash is gone. But a few moments later it's back again! Very annoying.

Does anyone know where this comes from? I just don't like to see myself as "Nickname -" in my contactlist (A)

Thanks for yer help 8-|

Have you got the script NameCustomizer or similar? Because if is set a background color for the personal message, the dash appear also if there isn't anything in it.

No (s)he does not. I've had the same problem for ages but I just ignore it. It sometimes goes and comes back.

Just ignore it and it should stop after a while.
