O.P. caputre messages?
I am new to this forum. I don't know if this is the correct forum for my questions.

1. Live Messenger's conversation can be recorded. If my company is using some soft on server or gateway to record them, can I get around it.

2. messenger's messages are not encrypted. anyway to encrypt them?

3. someone told me webmessenger's conversation can not be captured. is it ture?

Thanks

If you have Messenger Plus! Live then you can encrypt them

Go to the MP!L icon> Preferences > Conversations > Logs Encryption > Protect my chat logs with a password.

Is that what you meant?

But I'm sure your company has a reason to record them in the first place :\

I don't think he's talking about chat logs on his computer but on the server, that the gateway/proxy is recording his messages.

The only way to get around it is trying to get access to the web without this proxy and if that's not possible then use encryption.

But encryption is only possible if the other person receiving your messages also has the means to decrypt this message, so it might not work because your contacts don't have this software and don't want to install it just for you.
