Hey. Im running IE 6 on an XP laptop. Ive got AVG firewall and Spybot, both of which are updated and run regulary.

Ive been having a problem with my internet explorer adding sites to my favourites. They are sites ive been on. For example i googled something today and the link to the google serch added itself to my favourites list. I can delete them easily and they go away but it happens again every 2 days sometimes less sometimes more. Its been happening now on and off for about 3 weeks. Ive run AVG and Spybot and neither have picked up anything. Ive also emptied my temperary files and cleaned up my computer.

Is there any explanation for this or anything i can do to stop it? Just a computer glitch maybe?

Edit: just ran Smitrem and CWshreader as well

i'd try reinstalling ie or if u don't mind up grading get ie7
