Okay help needed.

My teacher created something as an .sld file and she says it was a HP (hewlett packard) program. When I search for .sld i get nothing relate to that and I'm pretty sure it was a HP product because she was saying how it imported all her photos and then she just made the file. The file is a slide show of photos along with music. I have HP software that has come with my printer and you would think it would be the same as what I have but i dont have anything that supports such a file extension. If anyone could tell me what reads the extension and shows them up as slideshow like things pleeeeeeeeeease tell me!

Then your teacher probably remembered the wrong program. That site SonicSam gave you mentions 'sld' as being an XnView Slide Show. I guess that is what you need. Download XnViewp and try to open the file with that program.
