i chat alot with this contact and i always notice that her nickname gets cut off or something, doesnt display right, im not using tabs, this happend before lates WLM beta, i am on lates Plus!, and vista premium. 

Are you talking about the ?'s in brackets? It's probably because he/she is using a special font character that isn't installed on your machine. I get it quite frequently myself.

im refering to the "[I .zip files]" part and its no beacuse of the fonts because it happens with normal fots also.

Well, whats not showing right about that? Or am I missing something?

in the back CL on front conversation window. if u notice even the font changes color

For everyone else: Basically his friend's name has "I .zip files " in it, but in the conversation window it is only showing "I files "

As to why this is happening, I have no idea, sorry. It is a strange bug.
