O.P. Idea for script.
Well yeah, it's kinda useless script but a cool idea imho.
Basically if you have someone on msn with a coloured name. e.g Chrono's name is red and bold.

The script will find out the colour of the name and make the colour of the chat window red as well.

Whatcha think :P

Shouldn't be to hard to code up.

Actually, I think such a script would be pretty difficult. After all, it's not trivial to set the conversation window colour. Also, what would happen with multi-coloured names?

Strip only the first colour/color tag.

Or change the convo window's bg every 10 minutes?
So say it had a colour ranging from red to blue (including purple and pink etc) it would change to pink, purple, blue, red.

It's getting more complex now but yeah.

It isn't easy to change the colour of the chat window or the background image. You are dreaming thinking this is possible to say the least.

Yes, we have only access to the cmdids Messenger gives us. And those can open the color chooser, reset the default color or set it to one of the 15 colors which pop up when you click the color icon.

changing the color is not hard to do at all (I know two ways to do it off the top of my head, one of which is untested but should work). this script is not difficult -- I may attempt it later when I have time.

IMHO it'd be more useful having a script to change the colour/color of the window depending on the contact.
