hello

I am running WLM 8.1 along with Msg Plus.

My problem: at boot time, 2 WLM's start automatically as I would like to have now only one doing so.

I certainly installed this some time in the past but don't remember how I did this.

Would anyone have an idea about how I could stop the second WLM to automatically start?

To enable/disable "Polygamy" you go to the Plus! Preferences:
Contact-list > Plus! > Preferences  > Messenger > Main

There you can tick/untick the option "Allow me to connect to several accounts simultaneously" Make sure it's unticked

Or you could just stop WLM coming up in the first place by disabling it in it's options ( Tools -> Options -> General -> Under "Sign In" remove the tick where it says "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger......"

Well, I unclicked "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger......" into the WLM I want to quit starting.

I will see at the next boot wether it actually works according to our expectations.

That option will prevent both from starting.
What you need to look for is if you have a shortcut in Start > Programs > Startup.

There are about 637,568,961,587 places an autostart can be placed, and if I could remember more of them, I'd let you know, but I don't.
