O.P. wireless mouse
My GF just give me a wireless mouse she found round the house because mines broke.

She swears theres no CD to install so when I put in the USB thing, it said the hardware work properly. I had a look under mouse in Control Panel and it had two mice under hardware. The first was P/S 2 mouse in the port, the orignal.

The second says location 0 and I'm not sure what it means. I know its a technika mouse though. Screenshot attached, cany anybody help?

RE: wireless mouse
That Location 0 thing is the same for me and I have no problems at all. I think from memory, because it is a USB mouse, it makes no difference on it's location.

RE: wireless mouse
1) Check the internet for drivers just to be sure

2) Check the batteries aren't flat

they would be the first 2 things I would do
