Hey guys im working on making a web server for my website , i have apache and all that stuff installed through XAMP, and im wodnering how i can get it to work into my internet, i got a dns from everydns.net, anyone know how i set it up so it works properly...haboz.net is the address. Please dont flood thread with safety information cuz i dont need to read anymore about that, thanks.

You need to forward port 80 on your router from the WAN to a local IP address (you XAMPP server)

On your router, you need to allow access to port 80, usually found in the port-forwarding settings. You will also need to change the appropriate setting in any firewalls that you have running as well..

Also, the everydns.net site isnt loading for me, so I cant offer additional help with them if you were looking for it..

You really shouldn't be trying to run a website off your own home server. I don't mean that to be security wise, but that is going to be one horribly slow website.

I run a few websites off my home PC, sure it might be a little bit slower then using a host, but hey, its free.. and you cant beat the control that you have over it.

Well neither of those answers help me atall, how do i set it up correctly in apache?

if your doing it all through XAMP it should do it's self
try access it from another computer in intranet 

http://<ipaddress of server>/<folder if any>:8080
if that's all good
go to your NAT/WAN firewall (http://192.168.1.1) or what ever and set it up to forward to that <ipaddress of server> that you used to test it before

Because its not on the server right now because it didnt work before...

And to albert thats the main reason i was going to host from home because my server doesnt have up to date PHP and doesnt use SimpleXML and sum other stuff i need
