hi

i have windows vista and windows live meesenger with msn live plus

I want put Admin password to preferences panel so all user in my who use Messenger Plus can not open preferences panel without password

how can i do that

plz help me

You can't. Most Plus! preferences are per user anyway.

but that only works on a per email basis

i think i'm doing something wrong 'cause it says Windows can't find it...

is there anything missing in the explanation or is it me?

What do you mean with "Windows can't find it...."
Windows can't find what? Can you give more (and exact) details.
If you follow the instructions linked to by MattyRid you can remove the password and change it afterwards.

To open your registry, you go to your Windows Start menu, select RUN and type REGEDIT.
