O.P.  printer not working..
i am at work and the company i am supporting on the helpdesk at the moment has network based printers and when they try to print it goes in the que for 1/4 second and then disappears without a trace and doesnt print. does anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance  ![[Image: angusl.png]](http://www.l33tsig.net/sig/angusl.png)

didn't u just post that you've started a new job on an it helpdesk.....shouldn't you have ideas on how to fix this yourself, or even just a database of instructions to follow, to fix problems

I *think* they should have some technicians to fix it instead of asking in some random forum.

this is angus's boss. help him or ill smash u uleah. lol jks.. but seriously, do any of you know hwo to fix it because i honestly dont know. me and the guy next to me cant get it working. we are looking at the server. and cant find out what is wrong. can you please help.
nothing in documentation. nothing in GOOGLE. and i dont know where else to turn.

Most of the time the cause of this particular problem is the idiot at the keyboard printing to the wrong printer repeatedly and not realizing it.
It probably IS printing, just not where they are expecting it.

it is a network printer and i am remoting in now and its not human error.. its a colour laserjet 2840 and a HP 3055
