O.P. Display Picture Changer 1.2 issue

I installed the Display Picture Changer 1.2 version on msn 8.0 creator: .NET Developer For Rent
when i stole my friend's display pic he is unable to change his display pic to keep it changed. it will change for less than 30 sec then go rite back to the same that is currently displayed (arnold's pic). i have removed the pics completely off of my comp and out of the trash can and he is still unable to chng his display pic. i had him reboot his comp to see if this would help it and it still does it. it will chng back to his arnold pic each time he opens a convo window with me. i removed the program and rebooted and it still occurs on his comp when he opens his convo window with me.
any suggestions?
