O.P. Error Reports
When I click on the email icon on the main window all i get is an error report (i use the windows live mail aswell) seems to not load up live mail although windows live mail runs normally if i use the desktop icon.

Also when i try to open the log viewer it does the same thing, just gives me an error report for Log Viewer.exe

Uninstalled both messenger plus and messenger. Then reinstalled messenger and the email icon worked fine. Reinstalled Messenger plus and it stopped working again..

Can anyone help me with this? anyone having similar issues

RE: Error Reports
some other useful info:

Messenger Version:
Messenger Plus! Version:
Operating System:
Other Messenger add-ons or patches:

Notes
To find version numbers:
Messenger Version = Help -> About
Messenger Plus! Version = Plus! -> About
Also don't just put "latest version" as it doesn't say much at all.

Can you start Log Viewer from Messenger Plus! Live's own directory: C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live ?

Can you also give the Maintenance Wizard of Messenger Plus! a try? You can find it integrated with Uninstaller of Messenger Plus!.

Log Viewer runs fine from the directory itself, seems to executing through msn messenger it doesnt like.

Ran the maintanence wizard with all three options set, resetting it back to complete default.

Same issue with email, i get an error report pop up. Although when trying to run the log viewer from the menu i get a visual studio debugger option (i have visual studio installed)

Only output i can get from the debugger is
Unhandled exception at 0x280c3f90 in Log Viewer.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x280c3f90.
not sure if this helps at all.

im guessing nobody has any input on this. seems like its not going to get fixed by anything i do, wouldnt mind so much but this is a fresh install of windows aswell. so not like there is anything else that could cause it.

just to add to the problem, it seems to be everything thats executing from within msn that fails to load, including when i click links in the msn window. i just dont understand how this can only start happening when i install msg plus.

And just before anybody says it might not be related to messenger plus, i just uninstalled messenger plus only, not changing anything else. and msn messenger works fine now.
