O.P. Transparent yet not! (A Suggestion)
Messenger Plus! is a great great add-on for MSN Live Messenger, and I have been using it for a while. However, I would like to suggest a 'kool' new feature for Messenger Plus! if its possible.
The idea is that we can now have transparent windows including 100% transparency. But the problem is that if the window becomes somewhat transparent the conversation becomes hard to follow. So I would like to know if it's possible to have separate transparency option for the text & the window. So then it is possible to have a complete transparent (invisible) window with texts popping in mid-air!!
Is that possible? Please reply.
Thank You.

it's impossible to have anything a different transparency than the window it's in.

it's impossible because windows doesn't have the functionality :p

well, i mean, you could make the window 100% opaque and selectively make things transparent, but it seems impossibly hard to do...

I think the messenger team has to make ome modifications to the windows (which are planned for later versions) to add alpha support.  But because what they are building upon is old, it will take time (this was talked about with the alpha release of 9.0 ;)).

This should make it easier on Patchou or other developers in the future.

Personally speaking, I don't think transparency in WLM (unless they decide to change the name again in the future) would be a good thing. It's just me though, since it'd just use up more system resources than it's already using to support it. -at least, that's what I think would happen if it's embedded in the program from the developers-
