mine wont open =( ive tried reinstalling it 15 times but still didn't work. i use to have windows blinds but not anymore.
i think my problem is because yesterday i was cleaning out my computer (uninstalling and deleting) and i remember uninstalling windows blinds but the file was still there and i accidently clicked on it.something came up but nothing else happened. =(

can someone please help me to fix this =(

I also have WindowBlinds, and I'm 99% sure that WindowBlinds will have no affect on Messenger (although you haven't given us any details so it's hard to guess).

Can you explain exactly what happens? So you can install it fine...? Then when you try to open it, nothing happens? Have you tried waiting a while? Sometimes it can take a while to load. Also try and close any programs your not using.

You posted this in the Messenger Plus! help forum (maybe by accident). Do you have Plus! installed? If so, try uninstalling it from Add/Remove Programs to make sure it's not causing any problems with Messenger.

i installed messenger (the latest one) but when i click on it nothing happens
and sometimes like a few hours later it comes up and when i sign in its normal but sometimes it stuffs up and i have to close it

a week ago it was fine same messenger same everything it worked perfectly then.

What Windows do you have?

Do you have a router? If so, which one (brand and model number)? Try resetting it by unplugging it for one minute, then plugging back in and restart PC, as suggested here and here. Or disable then enable the network adapter.

I made sure no msnmsgr.exe was running went and disabled my network adapter (NIC), rebooted, and opened WLM and low and behold it opened. so i just oull out the plug and wait 1 minute and it will work?

but can i just disconect the plus to mu computer because my brother is using the router too?

It would be best if you could reset the router, that seems to have fixed the problem for many people.

I'm not sure what you mean by "disconect the plus to my computer" ?

because my router is connected to 2 computers can i just pull out the cable to my computer because if u pull out the power plug of the router my brother will get angry

Errm.. you can try it. I don't know if it will work or not. Pull it out, wait a minute, plug it back in. Then restart your computer.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to try resetting the router when your brother isn't using it.
