Which model exactly do you have? Most of them do seem to have XP drivers: Drivers for "pavilion 9000".

Lol, welcome to earth, VISTA IS GARBAGE.  Menthix Hold on while I get the exact model

OK the model number is dv9220ca.  On the HP page, most of the drivers for Vista are not visible when I click on XP drivers list.

Does anyone know where to get the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 drivers for XP that will work on my Pavillion? Because it's not on the HP site and NVIDIA advertises it as a Vista driver i think.  Also, the sound drivers do not appear on the HP site.  Anyone know where I can get them?

I don't know how it's going in other countries, but, here in Brazil, who bought a PC/note with Vista can receive for free a XP Pro license.

I bought 2 PCs and got 2 keys for Windows XP.

BTW, my brother got 2 XP and 3 Vista keys on MSDNAA.
I'm about to get mine. The results are out on Feb 7th [good luck to me :p]
I guess I'll make a collection of Windows' Keys.

HP is not one of the OEMs that gives out free XP licenses, therefore a manual install with my own disc/key is what I have to do.  I already have a license, and I'm just looking for drivers that will work on this particular notebook.

Remember that some drivers can be downloaded in Windows Update.
In my old PC, I downloaded video and sound drivers in Windows Update.

When I tried downgrading and going into the update in XP, it did not see the drivers for my video or sound cards.
